Review: HP Pavilion dv6 [video]

HP’s Pavilion dv6 is a fast desktop replacement laptop. It has a 15.6-inch display, configurations with Core i3, i5 or i7 processors, AMD graphics and more. In our benchmarks it performed well, with a WorldBench score of 71 with the integrated graphics and 102 with the AMD graphics switched on. Yes, apparently that’s the difference dedicated graphics can make. It is rather big, heavy and bulky but no more so than most other 15-inch laptops. Although it won’t break any new design barriers it’s rather stylish compared to many other PCs in this segment. Watch the video to find out more.

We tested a Pavilion dv6 6070ee, with Core i7 2.0GHz, 4GB RAM, 500GB hard drive and AMD Radeon 6770M (1GB).
