We’ve already shown you the Al Jazeera app for BlackBerry smartphones and now it’s time to for the PlayBook app. It’s very similar to the smartphone version but takes advantage of the bigger screen. One treat is that you can watch Al Jazeera live broadcast, which worked surprinsingly well on our home Wi-Fi with the PlayBook.

With the app you can browse through the latest news with ease, pick different categories. The interface is simple and clean and makes consuming the news quick and easy. This is the best news-app I’ve seen so far on PlayBook, so kudos to Al Jazeera for that.
